THE SATOSHI FILES / FILE 003

The Last Message

FACT

Satoshi Nakamoto gradually withdrew from public discussion and from Bitcoin's development.

By 2011, the known correspondence had become sparse.

KNOWN

In one of Satoshi's final known emails, he wrote that he had moved on to other things.

Bitcoin did not stop.

Development continued without its creator at the center.

UNKNOWN

Was this simply an exit?

Or was disappearing always part of what Bitcoin needed to become?

The messages ended. The protocol didn't.

What if the last message wasn't a goodbye?

What if it was a handover?
